M — N Associates Designs a Unique, Sustainable Juice Brand in Vietnam

Introducing JUS Cold Pressed Juicery, a unique, sustainable juice brand in Vietnam. Designed by M — N Associates, this brand is pioneering a new product in the Vietnamese market, breaking barriers with its innovative approach to drink branding and packaging.

M — N Associates embarked on a mission to create a unique, sustainable cold-pressed juice brand in Vietnam. The challenge was significant, given that cold-pressed juice was a completely new product in the country. However, the team was inspired by the concept of the equilateral triangle of yoga that connects body, spirit, and mind. This inspiration led to the creation of a unique equilateral triangle bottle shape, made from PET to ensure the juice is well-preserved and easy to transfer from lab to stores.

JUS, short for Juice Up Saigon, is a raw, cold-pressed juice company founded in September 2015 by three individuals sharing a love for a healthy lifestyle. The brand offers a simple, delicious way to integrate plant-based health into a busy life. This is particularly relevant in Saigon, one of the busiest cities in Southeast Asia, where nutritious and delicious juices are made practical and ready for everyone.

The design of the JUS bottles is unique and stands out in the market. The minimal branding design highlights the colorful palette of JUS products, making them stand out on their own. The 250ml triangle PET bottle is a departure from traditional shapes, and the white silkscreen logo contrasts beautifully against the colorful contents, with the white cap providing an accent.

The project started in July 2015 and was launched completely in September 2015. The first store opened after Tet 2016, with M — N Associates directing the interior design for the whole chain. The brand's minimalism is its core, highlighting the lifestyle in the most humble way possible. This approach was a challenge in Vietnam, where minimalism and cold-pressed juice were both new concepts. However, after two years, the brand stood out completely and was known as the best local brand for cold-pressed juice.

This design was awarded the Golden A' Packaging Design Award in 2018, a testament to its marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creation. The award reflects the designer's prodigy and wisdom, and the product's extraordinary excellence and significant impact on the world with its desirable characteristics.

In conclusion, JUS Cold Pressed Juicery, designed by M — N Associates, is a testament to the power of innovative design in creating a unique, sustainable brand. Despite the challenges of introducing a new product and design concept in Vietnam, the brand has successfully made a significant impact, standing out as the best local brand for cold-pressed juice and earning prestigious recognition for its design.
