The central feature of the showroom is the special studio that displays exclusive collections. Blazers are exhibited on metal supports with carved brackets against a wooden collage wall, while the Sherwani section features wooden sliders as an appealing backdrop. The juxtaposition of polished wood-metal engravings with contrasting etched motifs on cement sheets accentuates the entire space.
The materials used for the interiors include stones, wood, and metal engravings, adding to the richness and authenticity of the design. The showroom covers a carpet area of 232.25 square meters, providing ample space for customers to explore and appreciate the garments on display.
The showroom is divided into two sections by a central lift space. The larger section showcases kurtas and suits, with a central special studio dedicated to Jodhpuri outfits. The adjacent space on the left side is dedicated to showcasing sherwanis. This layout ensures a seamless and organized shopping experience for customers.
The Adani Retail Showroom project began in January 2017 and was completed in June 2017 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Throughout the design process, the team faced the challenge of incorporating vernacular elements to portray men's ethnic wear while also accommodating areas for western wear like blazers. The result is a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary elements.
This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award acknowledges the showroom's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Adani Retail Showroom stands as a testament to the integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings for customers.
