The inspiration for the Magician stemmed from the common struggle of long working hours and the physical discomfort that often accompanies them. The team at Guangzhou Seedland Real Estate Dlp. recognized the need for a chair that not only provides comfort but also promotes good posture and health. This led to the creation of a chair that aligns perfectly with the human spine's physiological curvature, encouraging better sitting habits and reducing discomfort.

What sets the Magician apart from other office chairs is its unique combination of design and technology. The chair's back is made of walnut wood, providing optimal support for the spine, while the seat is filled with memory foam to ensure comfort in various postures. Additionally, the chair is equipped with a multi-point pressure sensor that monitors the user's sitting posture and provides reminders to maintain correct posture. The chair also features a central spring damping system and Michelin silent wheels for smooth and quiet movement.

The Magician was brought to life using three-dimensional bending wood technology, central suspension technology, and multi-point pressure sensing technology. Measuring 600 mm in length, 600 mm in width, and 950 mm in height, the chair is designed to fit comfortably in any office environment. The design process, which began in Guangzhou in September 2017 and concluded in December 2017, was marked by challenges such as achieving the accuracy of the multi-point pressure sensors and creating the walnut backrest using three-dimensional bending technology.

Before the design process began, the team conducted extensive research, surveying users through questionnaires and interviews. The majority of respondents, who were sedentary workers, expressed a need for an office chair that could enhance their work experience. The results of this research were instrumental in shaping the design of the Magician.

The Magician's innovative design and functionality have not gone unnoticed. The chair was awarded Silver in the A' Furniture Design Award in 2018, a prestigious accolade given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. This award is a testament to the Magician's potential to transform workspaces and improve the daily lives of office workers.
