Braille Ebook

A Revolutionary Device for Visually Impaired Readers

Blind people should also be able to read books, and Brian studio has designed the Braille Ebook specifically for them. This innovative device provides text for blind users and offers two ways of reading: through touch and voice. It simultaneously provides text scanning, Bluetooth ebook transmission, and text transmission, making it a user-friendly and inclusive solution for visually impaired individuals.

The Braille Ebook stands out from other ebook readers due to its unique properties. By utilizing Bluetooth technology, it allows healthy individuals to transmit electronic files to the device. The Braille Ebook then automatically translates the text into braille, enabling blind users to read with their hands. The device also features touch sensing technology, allowing users to navigate through the pages effortlessly. Unnecessary points are automatically hidden, ensuring a smooth reading experience.

Measuring at 240mm in width, 185mm in depth, and 8mm in height, the Braille Ebook is designed to be compact and portable, making it easy for users to carry it wherever they go.

The development of the Braille Ebook began in December 2017 at Shenyang Aerospace University and Astronautics Design Institute of Art. The project was later continued in January 2018 at Brian studio. Extensive research was conducted to address the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in accessing textual information. The Braille Ebook aims to bridge this gap and provide an intuitive way for blind readers to obtain information.

The Braille Ebook has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category in 2018. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate innovation, practicality, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements. The Braille Ebook's integration of industry best practices and its contribution to creating a better world have earned it this esteemed accolade.

The Braille Ebook is not just a device; it is a symbol of inclusivity and accessibility. With its groundbreaking technology and user-friendly design, it empowers visually impaired individuals to enjoy the pleasure of reading and access information effortlessly.
