Elegance and Artistry Combined

The Classy Luxury residential house, designed by Chao-Yan Chen, is a testament to the beauty of art in space and life. With its exquisite and elegant decoration, this house showcases not only delicate design skills but also a grand layout magnitude. The indoor traffic flow, manifesting the artistic vision, brings out the spirits of space and allows artworks to meander amiably throughout the house.

One of the standout features of this design is the main wall in the public area. The polished-finish marble walls adorned with golden lines create a sense of classy extravagance. The black marbles on the lower walls intensify the visual contrasts and draw attention. The symmetrical black-stone display cabinets in the dining room further enhance the dialogue between art and space, featuring captivating plaster sculptures and reliefs.

The design of the Classy Luxury house is a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary styles. The colors and lines reveal elegant charms that seamlessly integrate with modern order and cleanliness. The use of mixed-and-matched materials and colors, such as large mirror-pane glass walls, golden lines, leather stitches, and wooden display cabinets, define the contemporary aesthetic.

Technically, the Classy Luxury house spans 250 square meters and was completed in October 2017 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The design team, led by Chao-Yan Chen, overcame various challenges in material selection to achieve an agreeable balance between aesthetic compositions and environmental protections. Through innovative experiments and the integration of technology and lifestyle, the design works showcase uniqueness, originality, and a comprehensive demonstration of design skills and aesthetics.

The Classy Luxury house was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2019. This prestigious accolade recognizes designs that exhibit outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.
