Summit Condo Sales Center: A Masterpiece by GEEDESIGN

Blending Architecture, Design, and Landscape in a Unique Urban Experience

The Summit Condo Sales Center, located in Hangzhou, China, is a testament to the innovative design approach of GEEDESIGN. The design team, led by Li Yishu and Li Guoliang, has seamlessly integrated the building, landscape, and interior, creating a continuous spatial interface from outdoor to indoor. This harmonious blend of elements has resulted in a unique urban architectural texture and a complete urban architectural image.

What sets this design apart is the innovative reorganization of the building and spatial streamline. The design team has skillfully carried out a spatial transformation that allows a free switch between “open” and “private” spaces. This not only facilitates interaction between people and natural space but also maintains a sense of privacy. The design is a perfect example of the Trinity Design Principles, which is the integration of building, landscape, and interior.

The realization of this design is a feat of technological prowess. The use of ultra-clear glass, weighing 2 tons per piece, enhances the spatial flatness and ensures the purity of the color. The aluminum ceiling, inserted with 20*20 aluminum decorative profiles, adds more details and better finishing. The project also uses 450 tons of starry gray stone, polished to a matte finish, and processed with a 90-degree angle of chamfering, which controls the collapse of the stone.

The design offers a unique interaction model. The first courtyard houses an art exhibition, and the building, shaped like a transparent glass box with large overhangs and a spiral staircase inside, resembles an art museum. The second courtyard, with its completely enclosed structure, creates a private atmosphere. The 14-meter-high glass-made main building with three floors, gray space enclosed by the corridor, large water courtyard in the atrium, and the sculptural staircase inside the building, all contribute to a unique spatial experience.

The Summit Condo Sales Center is a shining example of GEEDESIGN's innovative design approach. The project, which started in October 2017 and finished in July 2018, has been recognized for its excellence. It was awarded the Golden A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award in 2019, a prestigious accolade granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom.
