This product creatively combines a rolling pin with a face-plate, making it easier for users to make dumpling wrappers. The materials used employ compact bamboo plates that have been compressed at high temperatures, making them anti-bacterial and easy to clean. The creative fastener connector also provides convenience for users during use.

The compressed bamboo material is cut and polished using machine tools. The design specifications for the Dumpling Wrapper Board are 350mm*240mm*20mm. The project started in February 2019 in Shenyang, China, and the design team members include Peitong Li, Jingyao Xu, Ao Xu, Anqi Liu, and Chenxi Zang.

When using the product, it is used in combination to make dumpling skins. The design of the Dumpling Wrapper Board was inspired by carefully observing and discovering the improvement points in daily life. The main challenge was to design a combination of a rolling pin and a panel.

With the spread of Chinese culture, more and more foreigners are interested in Chinese food and want to learn. Among them, dumplings are becoming increasingly popular as a representative food of Chinese cuisine. However, many foreign friends are confused about the use of the rolling pin. The Dumpling Wrapper Board aims to facilitate the production of dumpling wrappers by combining a rolling pin and a panel.

This design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category in 2019. The Iron A' Design Award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, and contributing to a better world.
