The concept revolves around a series of different layers that fit together like puzzle pieces, gradually revealing the watch inside. Constructed using cardstock layers, the packaging features a cutout in the center where the watch sits. These layers are held together by a thin rubber band, which rests on small notches. The main core is then enclosed by a final cover that proudly displays the brand's identity.

When it comes to functionality, the All Mies packaging offers a seamless experience. It can be opened by either sliding the core out of the cover or by opening the cover from the back tab. Once the cover is removed, the main core can be untied by removing the rubber band. This reveals the watch, which is now surrounded by a series of independent layers.

Throughout the design process, the All Mies team faced the challenge of creating a unique and elegant packaging solution within a limited budget. By rejecting generic boxes, they carefully studied production processes and materials to achieve a custom design that met their financial constraints.
