The project covers an area of 271,820 square meters, making it the largest high-grade and low-density residential community in Pinggu District, Beijing. Comprising three high-rise slab buildings and 10 flat-floor villas, the project exudes the century-old luxury of Art Deco while incorporating contemporary architectural techniques, specifically the Empire style. This combination creates a truly unique and opulent living space, making it the ultimate choice for the contemporary elite.
In terms of decorative elements, the penthouse features classical Scottish lattices that have been refined and incorporated into the main spaces such as the living room, dining room, and stairwell floor. These lattices are complemented by Lightning Beige and new Magnolia stones, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. Drawing inspiration from the retro and gentle Victorian period, the design also incorporates elements from women's fashion, such as ribbons and pleats, to create a gorgeous and subtly soft style.
The Tianrun Art Palace Penthouse spans a total area of 943 square meters, with varying ceiling heights ranging from 2.57 meters to 5.3 meters. The space layout is meticulously planned, showcasing a rigorous and symmetrical design that exudes a sense of solemnity and grandeur. The lines of the penthouse are simpler and more restrained compared to traditional European styles, creating a harmonious and balanced aesthetic.
Located in Beijing, China, the design of the Tianrun Art Palace Penthouse commenced in July 2015 and was completed in July 2017. The project presented unique challenges, such as the low ceilings and missing drainage pipelines on the attic floors. However, through innovative redesign and reorganization of the space, these challenges were overcome, resulting in a penthouse that feels spacious and grand.
The interior decoration style of the Tianrun Art Palace Penthouse is based on the British style, with a blend of classic European aesthetics and Oriental design influences. The use of geometric lines, overlapping patterns, and a contrast of colors creates a three-dimensional and visually striking space. The overall ambiance is quiet, elegant, and infused with a Western traditional aesthetic atmosphere.
The Tianrun Art Palace Penthouse is a testament to the exceptional talent and creativity of David Chang and his design team. It has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2019, which honors designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity and resourcefulness. This award-winning penthouse showcases the best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to an improved quality of life and making the world a better place.
