Eminence Mansion: A Blend of Luxury and Classical Elegance

David Chang Design Associates Int'l Creates a Majestic Residential Show Home

The Eminence Mansion, a residential show home, is a testament to the timeless elegance of classical European style. This article explores the unique design elements, inspiration, and realization of this prestigious development.

The Eminence Mansion, designed by David Chang Design Associates Int'l, is a luxurious residential show home that draws its inspiration from the grandeur of classical European architecture. The design team aimed to create a spacious residence that would give the feeling of living in a villa, especially in terms of vertical height, with European classical decoration and interior architectural detailing.

The unique properties of the Eminence Mansion lie in its embrace of timeless elegance and grace. The design incorporates elements of Romanticism and Classical styles, with sensuously rich materials and precious jewels used in flooring patterns to celebrate historical grandeur. These patterns are reflected in the ceiling designs, creating a majestic yet dignified ambiance. A soft and calming color palette further enhances the regal serenity of the living, dining, and public areas.

The realization of the design involved sourcing furnishings from the finest suppliers, including PROVASI, a world leader in luxury furniture. The entirety of finishes, furnishings, materials, and details were carefully considered to ensure a tranquility throughout the home. The 460 square meter show home features a 3.3-meter ceiling height throughout and comprises 5 bedrooms, all with en suites. The living room is 8 meters in width and 5.6 meters in depth, with a sliding door leading to a balcony overlooking the complex courtyard.

The design process involved extensive research to create a show flat that exudes majesty in every square foot. One of the unique aspects of the design is the clear separation between the intimate private area and the public area to avoid any traffic flow interference. The design team faced challenges in sourcing suitable imported furnishings due to time constraints and limited local options. This necessitated direct trips to Europe to select from a wider range of options.

The Eminence Mansion project started in July 2014 and was completed in May 2015. It is located in the northeast corner of 4th Ring Road and Yaojiayuan Road in Beijing, China. The design was awarded Silver in A' Luxury Design Award in 2017, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation.
