Luxury is not superficial, but also the inner craftsmanship, which is displayed in every corner of the space. What about the home and oriental luxury of the Orientals? That is the origin of the design of this case.

The Crown of the Oriental Style, designed by Chi Feng Lin, is a stunning example of luxury design inspired by the East. This apartment house showcases the unique blend of traditional Oriental elements with modern Western style, creating a truly captivating space.

One of the standout features of this design is the clever use of lighting. The chandelier, linear lights, and embedded lights behind the cupboards provide indirect lighting, creating a soft and inviting ambiance. The artificial lights are intentionally weakened to contrast the stabilizing sunlight that fills the central space. This play of light and shadow adds depth and dimension to the interior.

The cabinets in this design serve a dual purpose - they not only provide storage but also frame the twists and turns of the layered space. These cabinets are carefully designed to accommodate and exhibit objects, showcasing the owner's personal style and adding visual interest to the overall design.

The materials used in the Crown of the Oriental Style include metal, titanium, stone, leather, wall cloth, and painted glass. These materials not only add a touch of luxury but also contribute to the overall aesthetic of the space. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of this design.

This project, located in Taichung City, Taiwan, was completed in December 2018. The design team, led by Chi Feng Lin and assisted by Jing wen Zhang, faced the challenge of seamlessly blending the mysterious Oriental style with modern Western elements. The result is a harmonious and visually stunning space that truly captures the essence of luxury and elegance.

The Crown of the Oriental Style has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in 2019. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while also providing fulfillment and positive feelings. The Crown of the Oriental Style is a testament to the power of design to create a better world.
