Strong: A Seamless and Stylish Wall-Mounted Range Hood

Integrating Technology into Kitchen Style

Strong, designed by the Silverline Design Team, is a wall-mounted range hood that combines high performance with high-quality custom front panels. What sets Strong apart is its ability to seamlessly integrate into any kitchen style, thanks to its use of high-quality materials such as Porcelain slab or Corian as the front panel. This allows the range hood to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding countertops and cabinetry, creating a cohesive and stylish look.

One of the standout features of Strong is its invisible touch sensor technology, which provides a perfect control experience for the end-users. The touch control buttons are located on the seamless surface of the front panel, allowing users to control the range hood by simply touching the graphics on the surface. This not only adds a wow-factor to the design but also ensures a sleek and minimalist aesthetic.

In terms of performance, Strong is equipped with a new generation BLDC motor technology, offering an A+ Energy class and a flow rate of 700 m3/h. This ensures efficient and effective ventilation, keeping the kitchen air clean and fresh. The range hood is available in three different widths - 596 mm, 796 mm, and 896 mm - to accommodate various kitchen sizes and layouts.

When it comes to maintenance, Strong has been designed with ease of use in mind. The front panel materials, whether it be the dirt-resistant porcelain slab or the non-porous surface of Corian, make cleaning a breeze. Simply wipe down the surface with water or a mild cleaning agent, and the range hood will look as good as new.

The development of Strong was a result of meticulous research and development activities. The design team conducted extensive material analysis, focusing on the kitchen and construction sectors. Collaborations with material suppliers, sample collection, and quality tests were all part of the process to ensure the durability, safety, and ease of use of the range hood.

Despite the challenges faced during the research phase, such as creating business collaborations with material suppliers and controlling the seamless surface without compromising the design requirements, the Silverline Design Team successfully brought Strong to life. The project started in May 2018 in Istanbul and was completed in December 2018 in Merzifon. It was showcased at the IFA in Berlin in September 2018 and at IMMCologne in Cologne in January 2019.

Recognized for its outstanding design and innovative features, Strong was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category in 2019. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
