The design of Mooy's brand identity is centered around the 'tache de beauté’, one of the seven attributes of female beauty. This visual element has been used to define the two areas of the establishment: the bistro and the skincare shop. The two circles, representing these areas, are quite literally two beauty spots: one for the inner body and one for the outer body.
What sets Mooy apart is its belief in the natural beauty of every woman. The brand offers a carefully selected range of healthy dishes and premium skincare products. The brand design and interior design have a strong visual link, resulting in several shades of pink and two very impactful circles that define the bistro and skincare shop.
The design realization of Mooy involved several unique features. One such feature is the circular wall niche filled with handmade paper flowers, custom-made for the bistro. Other custom-made elements include the tailor-made terrazzo for the tables, kitchen, and toilets, and a tailor-made liquid floor. The light fixtures, designed to evoke a natural and organic feeling, were also custom-made for the project.
The design of Mooy is a result of a collaborative effort led by Creative Director Interior Ruud Belmans and Creative Director Branding Michiel de Vreede. The team also included Design Director Interior Carine Aussems, Interior Designers Pauline Schellens and Kathy Van de Velde, Graphic Designer Jochem de Weerdt, and Project Manager Caio Bombeke.

Mooy, located in Lombardenvest 19, Antwerp, Belgium, was opened in December 2018. The design project was based on inspirational research conducted through discussions and interviews with Mooy's founder, as well as researching beauty and health trends. The biggest challenge faced by the team was to find a general concept that would bring the two briefed mindstates together.
Mooy's design is a testament to WeWantMore's innovative approach to design, blending form and function seamlessly. The design was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in 2019, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation. It is a design that not only showcases a remarkable level of excellence but also introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
