More Honey: A Unique and Wholesome Packaging Design

Bringing the Perfect World of Bees to Your Table

Inspired by the intricate dance of bees, Salvita Bingelyte, a renowned designer from Lithuania, has created a one-of-a-kind packaging design for More Honey. This innovative design not only captures the essence of bees' diligence and intelligence but also appeals to the modern generation of honey lovers.

Most honey available in supermarkets today is far from natural, often containing additives and impurities. Salvita Bingelyte recognized the need for a pure, all-natural honey brand that would cater to health-conscious individuals. Drawing inspiration from the waggle dance of bees, which communicates the location of flowers to other bees, Bingelyte used the trajectories of these dances to create a continuous, abstract pattern for the packaging design.

The goal of the design was to showcase the perfect world of bees and their dedication to finding the most pollen and nectar in the least amount of time. By avoiding traditional honey visual clichés such as bees, drops, or honeycombs, Bingelyte created a unique and memorable label design that stands apart from other honey brands.

The packaging for More Honey features Mason jars, chosen for their timeless aesthetic and association with a simpler way of life. These jars not only add a touch of nostalgia but also align with the growing awareness of the environmental, economic, and health costs of consuming processed foods. They are reusable, durable, and do not easily chip, making them a sustainable choice. The clear labels with white and black screen print further enhance the wholesome luxury of More Honey.

The brand name, More Honey, is displayed over a black square with the letters spilling over the edges, reinforcing the meaning behind the name. This design element adds a contemporary touch to the overall packaging.

The label design measures 185 mm x 80 mm and is applied to jars holding approximately 1 liter of honey. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials ensure that the packaging not only looks appealing but also preserves the freshness and quality of the honey.

Salvita Bingelyte began working on the More Honey packaging design in January 2019 and completed it in February 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The design has since garnered recognition and was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2019. This award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.

With its unique and captivating design, More Honey is set to revolutionize the way we perceive honey packaging. It appeals to a new generation of honey lovers who value both style and substance, offering them a taste of the perfect world of bees.
