Both the name and symbol of Doboho communicate the brand's core values and characteristics. The hand-drawn symbol, an abstract representation of a hand, captures the essence of a freestyle brand. The name itself, Doboho, is a bold reference to boho fashion and serves as a personal statement for those who embrace the bohemian lifestyle. Doboho is a brand that celebrates individuality and self-expression, appealing to women of all ages.
Technical specifications were carefully considered in the design process. Recycled paper made from corn was used for all printed materials, aligning with Doboho's commitment to sustainability. Additionally, brand labels were hand-sewn onto each bag, adding a personal touch to every product.
The design project for Doboho took place from January 2018 to May 2018 in Athens, Greece. Despite a few challenges, such as finding common ground with the client and working within a limited budget, the design process progressed smoothly. Through creativity and resourcefulness, the desired brand image was achieved without compromise.
The Doboho brand identity captures the essence of free-spiritedness and creativity. The organic form of the hand-drawn symbol, along with the warm and earthy color palette, evokes a sense of comfort and relaxation. Through simplicity and symbolism, the design effectively communicates the core features of the brand and sets it apart from other fashion products.
The design for Doboho has received recognition for its outstanding creativity and ingenuity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2019 in the category of Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate technical and creative excellence, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
