La Bombe: A Dreamlike Packaging Experience

To compose scenes, Laika created surreal characters and scenarios that metaphorically refer to the La Bombe store and its neighborhood. The packaging that carries the eclairs is more than just packaging; they are an invitation to taste the product and, above all, to gift someone special. Each box is adorned with illustrations that transport you to a whimsical world, where storks ride unicycles and cats sprout wings in urban settings. These fantasy scenes, with their unreal visual aspect, create an atmosphere of desire for both the narratives and the delectable treats within.

The illustrations of La Bombe were produced using a combination of analog and digital techniques. Laika employed pencil and ink for the initial sketches, adding a touch of artisanal charm to the compositions. The final artwork was then digitally painted, resulting in a unique and captivating visual identity. Printed on high-quality offset paper, the boxes are not only visually stunning but also practical. They feature a quick and simple assembly system that allows them to be stored open, optimizing space and transport logistics.

The La Bombe eclair packaging is designed to be used on a large scale, with different sizes available to accommodate varying quantities of the delectable treats.
