Vividness: A Sophisticated Residential Apartment Design

Unleashing the Delicate Aesthetics of Decoration Materials

The magnificent attractions of a big house are commenced from traffic flows and paused in vistas, which have grown into the delicate aesthetics of decoration materials. Following the rapid-changing developments of decoration materials that are improving from the perspectives of colors, technology, and aesthetic classics, the grandeur evolutions of interior design are marching forward indefinitely.

The smooth indoor traffic flows, coordinated with materials in divergent colors and textures, deftly constitute the distinguishing and classy impression of a grand villa. The house decoration is based on the backbone of new classical style and modern ornamental skills.

With a property size of 276 square meters, Vividness is a residential apartment design that exudes sophistication and elegance. Located in Shanghai City, China, this project was completed in October 2017 under the creative direction of Chen-Chuan Tang.

The design of Vividness is a result of meticulous research and attention to detail. The walls and ceilings in the spacious public area are furnished with white boards and lattices, while the floors are adorned with fine marbles and black lines, intensifying the vivid visual perception of the space.

One of the creative challenges overcome in this design was the integration of different functional areas. On the left side of the living room, an exercise area with extensive windows offers a breathtaking view of the abundant outdoor trees. On the right side, a tea room showcases Chinese style. The exquisite wooden doors adjoining the living and tea rooms can be opened to create a spacious accommodation, or closed to sustain independent activities in each room.

Vividness has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. Vividness showcases strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
