Psiloreitis, a limited edition packaging design for Gazoza soft drink, takes consumers on a journey through time. Created by renowned designer Antonia Skaraki and her team, this packaging celebrates 70 years of taste with a nostalgic twist. The inspiration behind Psiloreitis comes from the authenticity of the trends that shaped past decades, resulting in a unique and captivating design.

Travelling to the past with a company that celebrates 70 years of taste! When you picture the past, what comes to mind? Inspired by the authenticity of the trends that shaped past decades, this Limited Edition Packaging is unique: Jeans & Jeanius Icons in the 50s, Hippies and Positive Vibes in the 60s, Disco Mood in the 70s, Bright and Playful Colors in the 80s, Fab Fashion in the 90s, Tech in the 2000s, Trends in the 2010s. Uplifting patterns. Modern patchworks.

The design team used glass and paper to create Psiloreitis, ensuring environmentally friendly packaging. The glass bottle measures 19.2 cm in width and 16 cm in height, while the paper label is a sleeve label created by Forlabels printing company.

This kind of throwback design was an effective way of demonstrating dedication to a certain level of quality, unaltered since the inception of the product, decades back. It tells the story of passion and trends that remain alive from a design standpoint. That’s how a lasting brand identity was created.

The Psiloreitis project was started and finished in 2019 in Athens, Greece. During the research phase, the design team focused on creating limited edition packaging that would connect with customers in a unique way. Limited edition packaging provides an exclusive look without changing what is in the bottle, giving consumers a sense of exclusivity.

The major challenge faced by the design team was to create an original and unique packaging that would mark the course set 70 years ago when the tasty journey of Psiloritis Gazoza soft drink began. By combining elements from different decades, the team successfully created a design that captures the essence of the past while remaining relevant in the present.
