Chunjiang Huayue: A Harmonious Blend of Modern Design and Oriental Aesthetics

Feng Xu's Award-Winning Sales Center Design in Yulin City

The design inspiration for the Chunjiang Huayue Sales Center stems from the need for a functional, integrated layout that emphasizes progressive layers. Feng Xu, the designer, has meticulously used the concept of "inter" to define and enclose each space in an orderly way, ensuring each area connects with the others. This approach has resulted in a space that is not only visually appealing but also highly functional.

What sets the Chunjiang Huayue Sales Center apart is its strategic location in the heart of Yulin City's CBD project. The center enjoys excellent connectivity, being close to the main urban road and just 3.5 kilometers from the city center. The design language, rooted in Oriental aesthetics, is expressed through modern design techniques, creating a unique blend of tradition and modernity.

The realization of this design project involved careful selection of design techniques and materials. The boundaries between spaces are subtly blurred, and the spatial forms are harmoniously coordinated, resulting in a natural expression of modern Oriental aesthetic attitudes. The project covers a total of 2600 square meters, featuring an island water bar in the middle for serving customers in all directions and a hollowed-out metal box on the top that increases visual interest and design aesthetics.

One of the key challenges in designing the Chunjiang Huayue Sales Center was creating a negotiation area that is not only functional but also comfortable and appealing to customers. The design team achieved this by using simple furniture and artworks that reveal the elegance of the space. The large glass curtain walls blur the boundaries of the space, allowing people indoors to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window.

The Chunjiang Huayue Sales Center project started on July 10, 2018, in Yulin and was completed on September 20, 2018. The project was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020, a prestigious accolade that recognizes top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.

The intellectual property rights for the Chunjiang Huayue Sales Center design belong to Feng Xu. The design is a testament to his remarkable ability to blend modern design techniques with traditional Oriental aesthetics, creating a space that is not only functional but also visually stunning.
