Revolutionizing Urban Exhibitions: Ano Moy Rayon's "City: Details"

Winner of the Silver A' Event and Happening Design Award 2020

The exhibition, held from October 3 to October 5, 2019, at the VDNH Expo Center in Moscow, was spread over an area of 15,000 square meters. More than 250 projects were displayed, including advanced concepts of hardscape elements, sports and playgrounds, lighting solutions, and functional urban art objects.

What sets "City: Details" apart is its unique layout. Instead of the usual rows of exhibitor booths, Ano Moy Rayon built a working miniature model of a city, complete with a city square, streets, a public garden, an amphitheater, a sports ground, a children's play set, and a special darkened area for night lighting. This innovative approach allowed visitors to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a big city.

Adding to the immersive experience were unique audio tracks with street sounds, written specifically for several thematic areas. The night city area showcased prospective lighting solutions for comfortable urban environments. With the help of volumetric projections and laser technologies, visitors were transported to the magical atmosphere of a night park, complete with flying owls and rustling tree leaves.

One of the unique objects on display was a streetlight with an integrated camera that records with a viewing angle of 360 degrees. The exhibition also featured lighting art objects, different types of illumination systems, and calm pastime spaces decorated with LEDs. The total green area amounted to 1,000 square meters, with more than 100 trees, 5,000 perennials, and 6,000 bushes planted.

"City: Details" is not just an exhibition, but a presentation of a model of a city worth living and working in. It is a testament to Ano Moy Rayon's innovative approach to design and their commitment to creating comfortable, developed, and modern urban spaces. This commitment is reflected in their winning the prestigious Silver A' Event and Happening Design Award in 2020, a testament to their outstanding expertise and innovation.
