Vanke Yantai Chang An: A Gatsby-Inspired Sales Center

YHDQ Design's Award-Winning Creation Reflects Elite Lifestyle

The design's inspiration stems from the market position and specific location of the project. The space itself is designed to satisfy and reflect the lifestyle of elites. The designer chose a very iconic style to show the character of the space, using black and white together with a contemporary chandelier to illuminate the elegance of the whole space.

What sets this design apart is its spacious lobby and high ceiling, which perfectly align with the design inspiration theme. The "Gatsby style" demonstrates a luxury lifestyle in this space, and the art installations, such as the camera statue, correspond to the design theme and furniture settings. The project spans 2368 square meters and is located in Yantai city's Laishan district.

The design process, which took place from April to August 2020, began with research into the elite lifestyle described in Proust's novel and developed based on the movie "The Great Gatsby". The result is a sales center that not only serves its functional purpose but also stands as an art installation in itself, reflecting originality, luxury, and elite lifestyle.

YHDQ Design's efforts were recognized when the project was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
