Creating a Unique Logo and Brand Identity for Energy

The brand design of Energy, a vehicle fuel marketer in Paraguay, draws inspiration from its own name and the concept of movement. Designed by Edgar Jara, this logo and brand identity captures the essence of energy and its connection to the automotive and industrial world.

Energy's brand identity is presented through an imagotipo that represents the company's activity and values. The design is characterized by a geometric, dynamic, and minimalist style, achieved through extensive research and development. The logo ingeniously combines the typography of the letter "e" from the name Energy with the blades of a motor propeller, symbolizing movement and energy.

The colors used in the logo represent the different types of fuels offered by the company, creating a high contrast design that stands out in the field. The result is a visually striking and original brand identity that effectively communicates Energy's core values.

The design process for Energy involved analyzing automotive and industrial technology to identify common elements. Images of gears, wheels, and propellers served as a guide to generate different design options. The sketches were initially done by hand and then scanned and assembled using software such as Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator. This combination of manual and digital techniques resulted in a visually appealing and technically precise logo and brand identity.

The technical specifications for Energy's logo include both horizontal and vertical versions. The horizontal version measures 1000px in width and 288px in height, or 35.27cm by 10.15cm. The vertical version measures 710px in width and 492px in height, or 25cm by 17.38cm.

Energy's brand identity goes beyond just a logo. It includes a comprehensive user manual and brand identity standards that provide guidelines for the correct application of the brand across various platforms and communication supports. The logo's high pregnancy ensures that it can be easily identified without the need to read the company name, making it a powerful tool for marketing campaigns.

The Energy project was completed between August and November 2020 in Paraguay. It required extensive research to create a strong and unique brand identity that would stand out in a competitive market. Overcoming the challenge of creating a distinctive logo for a new fuel distributor in a market dominated by established competitors was no small feat. However, the use of a fraction of a letter from the company name as the key element ensured the creation of a truly original and exceptional brand identity.

Energy's brand manual serves as a practical guide for designers, enabling them to maintain the brand's identity within established standards. With its visually striking design and clear guidelines, Energy's brand identity is poised to make a lasting impact in the fuel industry.
