Radailiai: A Harmonious Blend of Two Worlds

Stand Up Team's Innovative Visual Identity Design Wins Silver A' Design Award

The inspiration behind Radailiai's design lies in the challenge of creating a logo that conveys two different messages. The design needed to represent both the playful style of Dino Park and the solid, stylized details of Radailiai Manor. The Stand Up Team achieved this by using a combination of dark green and rose gold, giving the manor a sense of solidity while still maintaining the playful vibe of the park.

The unique properties of the design lie in its clever use of symbols and motifs. The upper part of the Radailiai manor logo depicts a stylized fragment of an arch, a pattern of diagonal lines, and a motif of water waves, symbolizing the tranquility of a spa. The lower part of the logo features a similar water motif and a stylized dinosaur. By simply changing the text part of the logo and rotating the hexagon icon 180 degrees, the Dino Park logo emerges, with a dinosaur at the top and an inverted house at the bottom.

The Stand Up Team used a palette of deep green and rose gold to create a solid image for the manor, which easily transforms into the greens of the Dino Park jungle. This design was then applied to business cards, posters, envelopes, and gift bags, creating a cohesive visual identity across various mediums.

The project, which started in December 2019 in Klaipeda and finished in May 2020, posed a creative challenge for the team. They had to bring together two different worlds in a way that each could maintain its unique identity. Through elegant and unique color combinations, they were able to create a modern and fresh look that appeals to both children and adults.

The design's success is evident in its recognition at the A' Design Award, where it won Silver in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, and Radailiai certainly fits the bill. Its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill not only showcase a remarkable level of excellence but also evoke positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
