Satie Eljack's Award-Winning Visual Identity for a Meditation Center

Satie Eljack's design inspiration came from the Sukhasana, a fundamental pose in yoga and meditation practices. The physical shape of the body in this pose was sketched into the logo, with the soul represented by a central shape and color. This design reflects the core belief that the soul is the center of the body. Eljack's personal experience with meditation and yoga greatly influenced the creative process, providing a strong motive to incorporate these elements into the design.

The unique properties of the design lie in its visual identity and branding for the Imagine Center. The golden ratio, a mathematical ratio commonly found in nature, was used to abstract the Sukhasana pose, resulting in a balanced visual look that perfectly fits the character of the center. The logo, represented by the body shape and soul, plays a crucial role in achieving the center's goals.

The design was realized using vector graphics editor, allowing it to be scaled up and down without any loss to the image quality. The final design was submitted in both RGB and CMYK color variants, suitable for printing and social media marketing. The logo can be used separately by the client to identify themselves on different materials.

The visual identity of the brand extends beyond the logo. It includes designs for the interior look of the center, packaging, signs, advertisements, and online media. The project, which started in October 2020, was successfully completed in January 2021 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Eljack faced several challenges during the design process, particularly in creating a theme and patterns that would represent the diverse cultures of Saudi Arabia. Despite these challenges, the design successfully presents meditation using colors inspired by nature, such as the sun, wood, stone, sky, and greenery. The graphic element of the design was inspired by physical meditation and yoga poses, further reinforcing the connection between the design and its purpose.

In conclusion, Satie Eljack's design for the Imagine Center is a testament to the power of design in enhancing lifestyle experiences. By incorporating elements of yoga and meditation into the visual identity of the center, Eljack has created a design that not only represents the brand but also enhances the visitor's experience.
