Designer Mandy Morris Transforms Siamese Fighting Fish Inspiration into Award-Winning Bangle

Handmade from repurposed 18ct white gold, the bangle is adorned with natural yellow and white diamonds and pearls, adding to its aesthetic appeal.

Morris's creation is a perfect blend of traditional jewelry making skills and new laser welding techniques. The fluidity of the fin shapes was achieved through enhanced metal carving skills, while the clean, straight diamond-set edges were created using laser welding. The selection of 156 matching natural yellow diamonds from a pool of 450 diamonds further adds to the uniqueness of the piece.
