River View: Redefining Residential Living with New York Inspiration

A Unique and Sophisticated Residential Building by Integrare

Inspired by the iconic architecture of New York City, River View is a residential building that brings a new concept to the real estate market. With its distinctive design and attention to detail, this project offers a sophisticated and innovative living experience.

Designed by Integrare, River View draws inspiration from the studios and lofts of New York City. These spaces, originally repurposed from warehouses and factories, became synonymous with modern urban living in the post-war era. The building's facade features exposed brick masonry, paying homage to the industrial warehouses of New York. The incorporation of Art Deco elements from the 1920s adds a touch of elegance and lightness to the structure.

What sets River View apart is its commitment to uniqueness and originality. The project was developed to break away from the ordinary and offer residents a truly exceptional living experience. From every angle, the building showcases its distinctive characteristics, making it a standout in the cityscape.

Utilizing a combination of concrete, glass, apparent bricks, and LED lighting, River View embodies a modern and forward-thinking approach to design. The use of these materials not only enhances the building's aesthetic appeal but also ensures durability and sustainability.

With a total area of 8,415.00 sqm on a 850.00 sqm plot of land, River View stands tall with 28 floors and a height of 91.98 meters. The building houses 72 residential units, with four apartments per floor. Each apartment boasts a generous headroom of 3.24 meters. Additionally, the building features two recreation areas, one on the fifth floor and another on the rooftop, providing residents with ample opportunities for relaxation and leisure.

The design of River View aims to immerse residents in the essence of New York City. The studio and loft plans, communal areas, and facade design all contribute to creating an authentic New York experience. The structural modulation not only ensures cost efficiency but also allows for spacious interiors flooded with natural light and ventilation.

Located in Porto Belo, Santa Catarina, Brazil, the project commenced in September 2020 and was completed in November 2021. Construction began in October 2022 and is expected to conclude in October 2025. The design team conducted extensive research, both online and on-site in New York City, to ensure that the essence of the original architecture could be seamlessly integrated into the coastal landscape of Santa Catarina.

Overcoming the challenges of verticalizing a horizontal construction, the design team successfully maintained the functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness of the project. The use of apparent bricks on the facade was carefully executed to preserve the smoothness of the design while paying homage to other architectural styles.

With its harmonious blend of Art Deco and contemporary elements, River View stands as a testament to the creative vision of Integrare. The building's volume unites and balances these architectural concepts, resulting in a sophisticated and sober architecture that exudes personality. The monochromatic color palette, combined with the texture of exposed bricks, adds a touch of elegance to the structure.

Recognized for its outstanding design, River View was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category in 2022. This prestigious accolade celebrates designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
