Denver Hsu's Innovative Approach to Commercial Interior Design

Inspired by the gentle ripples of the nearby sea and the warmth of the setting sun, Denver Hsu created a store design that exudes tranquility and warmth. The design, characterized by light beige storefront and dark furniture, is orderly and energetic, playing a subtle yet indispensable role in the overall ambiance.

The unique properties of the design lie in its use of light yellow stone and dark wood grain strip. The retro log furniture, neatly arranged, creates a warm and quiet atmosphere under the soft lighting. The design stands out for its simplicity and elegance, setting it apart from conventional store designs.

The store, covering a total of 105 square meters, is divided into four different spaces: dining space, kitchen, electric room, open kitchen, and hallway. The design is realized through the careful selection of materials and colors, with the large surface combining light coffee, beige, and dark gray tones to create a gently nostalgic atmosphere.

The design project, which started in March 2022 in Shenzhen and was completed in June 2022, faced several challenges. The use of solid wood furniture for the indoor space and bluestone cut furniture for the outdoor space required careful planning and execution. The designers successfully overcame these challenges, adding playful shapes to the furniture to infuse a dynamic vibrancy into the space.

The design research focused on enhancing the texture of the space through the use of marble stone and block structures. The result is a space that is simple yet elegant, redefining the experience of tea-drinking spaces. The design aims to emphasize the positive impact of the environment created by materials and natural light, offering a unique and sensual experience to the users.
