Timur Erbil's Team Crafts Award-Winning Kitchen Aesthetics

The Seta kitchen design, conceived by the creative minds of Timur Erbil, Sevinc Gokce, and Mustafa Safak, is a harmonious blend of nature's fluidity and the precision of modern technology. The design team embarked on a journey to encapsulate the rhythm of nature within the kitchen, leading to a series of prototypes that explored the sensory impact of various textures on end users. The outcome is a kitchen that not only resonates with the energetic flow of nature but also serves as a dynamic and inviting space.

Seta's uniqueness lies in its mastery of material processing technology. The collection showcases a three-dimensional textured design, which is a result of advanced CNC production techniques. This innovation is paired with a thoughtful selection of colors and materials, such as the dignified shades of blue and grey, minimalist brass handles, and reeded glass doors, all meticulously combined to create an interplay of light and shadow.

Technical prowess is evident in the Seta kitchen's specifications. Occupying a space of 6300 mm by 5500 mm, the design integrates tall cabinets, an island unit, and various storage options, all crafted from 18 mm MDF. The doors undergo a meticulous process involving primer and polyurethane paints, topped with an S-matt coating to achieve a durable and aesthetically pleasing lacquer surface.

Functionality and environmental consciousness are at the forefront of the Seta design. The use of materials with very low VOC emissions underscores the commitment to both human health and the environment. Additionally, the special surface lacquer is engineered to be scratch-resistant and capable of self-repairing minor scratches through the application of heat, ensuring the kitchen's longevity and ease of maintenance.

The Seta collection's journey from concept to completion spanned from November 2021 to July 2022, with the Lineadecor Factory's Product Development Office in Kocaeli, Turkiye, serving as the birthplace of this innovative design. The team's dedication to research, user experience, and technical advancement culminated in a design that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of contemporary kitchen design.

Recognition of the Seta kitchen's design excellence came in the form of a Silver A' Design Award in 2024, a prestigious accolade that celebrates the highest standards of creativity and innovation in kitchen furniture, equipment, and fixtures. This award is a testament to the design's remarkable expertise, innovation, and the positive impact it brings to the world of kitchen aesthetics.
