The Yueji Diffuse Space stands as a testament to the power of minimalist design in creating a peaceful retreat. The project spans 700 square meters and is strategically positioned to offer expansive views of the adjacent lake, while shielding visitors from the distractions of the outside world. Haibo Liu's design philosophy for this space was to foster inclusivity, allowing for a range of activities such as spiritual rehabilitation, tea ceremonies, and yoga, without being confined to a singular purpose.

What sets the Yueji Diffuse Space apart is its use of raw materials that evoke a sense of calm and return to basics. The design focuses on channeling the visitor's gaze towards the lake, using the building's architecture to guide the flow of movement and sight. The space is punctuated by a central courtyard that serves as a lung for the building, circulating fresh air and drawing in natural light. The design's success is evidenced by its recognition at the prestigious A' Design Award, where it secured a Silver in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2024.
