The Luminaria series, created by renowned art designer Stefania Vola, is a collection of sculptures that embody the human figure in various positions and moods. One standout piece from this series is the 'Isadora' lamp, an homage to the legendary Isadora Duncan, the creator of modern dance.

The 'Isadora' lamp is a poetic object of art design, brought to life from an original clay sculpture. Made in limited edition, this unique piece is crafted from resin in diverse chromatic hues and saturation. The sculptures are draped as anthropomorphic shapes, capturing the essence of the human form in motion.

Utilizing LED lighting technology, the 'Isadora' lamp not only serves as a functional lighting fixture but also evokes the artistic freedom and poetics of Isadora Duncan's incredible dance performances. The combination of the sculptural form and the warm glow of the LED lights creates an emotional and captivating ambiance.

The production process for the Luminaria sculptures involves a meticulous and intricate journey. Starting from a clay sketch, the design progresses through a plaster model before finally being transformed into a resin matrix. Each edition is meticulously hand-painted, making every piece truly unique.

The 'Isadora' lamp is available as a pendant or floor lamp, with dimensions of 1700mm(W) x 600mm(D) x 1500+mm(H) for the suspension version and 1300mm(W) x 60mm(D) x 180mm(H) for the floor lamp.

The 'Isadora' lamp was developed in Italy between 2011-2012, with the prototype exhibited at Palazzo Ferrero D’Ormea in Turin and the Golden Palace Hotel in 2012. It is designed to fit special spaces, both public and private, and to subtly solicit the senses and emotions of those who encounter it.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category. This prestigious accolade is awarded to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
