Creating a Harmonious Balance of Space and Design

Spanning an impressive 419 square meters, Fangting is a testament to Liao's meticulous attention to detail and his ability to create a space that is both functional and visually stunning. The design is inspired by the concept of visual balance, with a classical interior style that stands the test of time.

In the living room, Liao masterfully uses the contrast of black and white to create an eternal space. The continuous strip and wallpaper facade extend the smooth and quiet atmosphere throughout the entire room. Deep-colored furniture is mixed with small black-and-white pieces, resulting in a cozy, spacious, and elegant ambiance.

One of the unique features of Fangting is its ability to transcend the limitations of space. Liao believes that design is more than just colors, textures, and furniture; it is a way of forming elegance, sensitivity, carefreeness, and texture. By satisfying the needs of the owners, the space becomes flawless and harmonious.

Located in Taiwan, Fangting underwent extensive research and planning to ensure that the configuration and flow of the space were optimized. The design seamlessly integrates public and private areas, providing a bright and generous public space and two private areas that maintain independence and privacy.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was to create a simple and neutral background that would enhance the furniture, decorations, and lighting. Liao achieved this by using white as the fundamental color and incorporating textures such as flannel, leather, and stone. The use of black, grey, and silver as symbols adds elegance, fashion, and warmth to the space.

To meet the expectations of the residents, Liao included a large table with a stone desktop, providing a space for online surfing, reading, and work. This table adds a touch of vigor to the neo-classical style space, reflecting the interesting juxtaposition of styles.

Fangting is a testament to Liao's dedication to elegance. The residence exudes generosity, fashion, and warmth, but it is the elegance that truly sets it apart. It is a flawless style that is not complex or grandiose, but rather simple and harmonious. Those who reside in Fangting can feel the elegance and behave accordingly, creating a space that is truly remarkable.
