Revamped Studio

Not wanting to diminish its core function, the Halls of Light features audio-inclined rooms that make up a significant part of the enclosed interior. With workstations, control rooms, and audio recording rooms, this design is perfectly suited for coming of age Christian teens.

The design of the Halls of Light took into consideration the modern era of Austerity. Volume reverberation and equalization were key factors in creating the simple yet grandiose outcome of the revamped halls for praise and adoration.

Albeit commercially thought out, the Halls of Light emphasizes the importance of isolation. The deep halls and deliberate penetrations lead users to remoteness, while dimly lit letters carved upon the walls assist in fluidity of movement.

The overall design and detailing of the Halls of Light took two months from the date of the first proposal to the completion of the renovation. The project was carried out in Singapore from August 2014 to October 2014.

With its origins as a parish hall since the 50s, the Halls of Light rejuvenates and revitalizes the senses of all who enter. The design focuses on volume reverberation and equalization, resulting in a simple yet elaborate outcome.

Awards: The Halls of Light was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2016 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award recognizes top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The Halls of Light showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
