Helios draws inspiration from the Greek god of the sun, Helios. Just as the sun illuminates the world, this eye-wear collection aims to illuminate the fashion industry with its innovative design. The modern consumer often desires more than one pair of glasses to match different outfits or occasions, and Helios provides the perfect solution.

What sets Helios apart is its ability to combine six different glasses-shapes in one frame. This is made possible through the use of magnets, which securely hold the spectacles in place. The collection is divided into two main parts: the main frame and the spectacles frame. The magnets in each part attract each other, allowing users to easily change the shape of the spectacles frames.

Made from high-quality aluminum, Helios is not only stylish but also durable. The spectacle frame measures 5 cm by 14 cm, while the main frame measures 14 cm by 14.5 cm, providing a comfortable fit for any face shape.

Interacting with Helios is a breeze. The magnets in the frames ensure a secure connection, allowing users to effortlessly switch between different glasses-shapes. This innovative approach to eye-wear provides a new level of convenience and versatility.

The Helios project was carried out in Athens, Greece, starting in September and concluding in February. Extensive research was conducted to understand the needs and wants of users, as well as the market trends in optical and sunglasses. The design team also studied eye diseases and conducted thorough research on materials for both frames and lenses. This research formed the foundation for the detailed design of the eye-wear collection.

Helios has been recognized for its exceptional design and functionality. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2016. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while incorporating innovative and practical elements.
