Quantum: A Museum and Exhibition Center

Unleashing Imagination in Unusual Directions

Creating this building was a great opportunity to unleash your imagination in an unusual direction.

Quantum is a Museum and Exhibition Center designed by Vasil Velchev, a renowned architect known for his innovative designs. This unique building is set to become a landmark in the world of art, architecture, and design. With its striking design and cutting-edge features, Quantum aims to host the forefront in Product Design as well as showcase important and iconic works created over the years.

The design of Quantum sets it apart from other buildings in its class. The structure is made of steel and concrete, with an external shell featuring a fractal pattern made of lightweight materials such as aluminium alloy or polymer structures. The use of new technologies, such as 3D printing, opens up exciting possibilities for the realization of this architectural masterpiece. Glass panels on both sides of the building allow for natural light to illuminate the exhibition spaces, creating a visually stunning experience for visitors.

Quantum is a three-floor building with two asymmetric corpora connected by tunnels. The design is a combination of overlapping spheres, displaced relatively to one another, forming two asymmetrical corpora with different internal areas and balconies. The connection between the two parts is accomplished by five corridors in the form of mini-deformed protuberances. This unique architectural approach not only creates an aesthetically pleasing structure but also symbolizes the connection and difference between the past and future in product design.

The main purpose of Quantum is to host temporary or permanent exhibitions. The building provides a versatile space that can accommodate a wide range of artistic and design installations. Its flexible layout allows for the creation of immersive experiences that captivate visitors and showcase the best of contemporary design.

The project started nine months ago and was created and developed in Bulgaria, under the guidance of Vasil Velchev. The design process involved extensive research into organic-eclectic styles and geometric shapes. The result is a building that not only stands out visually but also embodies the spirit of innovation and creativity.

Quantum has already received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category in 2016. This prestigious award is a testament to the exceptional expertise and innovation demonstrated by Vasil Velchev and his team.

With its groundbreaking design and commitment to showcasing the best in art, architecture, and design, Quantum is set to become a must-visit destination for enthusiasts and professionals alike. This Museum and Exhibition Center is a testament to the power of imagination and the limitless possibilities of design.
