Inspired by the enchantment of travel, YHS Studio presents "Dream and Reality," a unique boutique hotel that invites travelers to become dreamers and experience the unexpected. With its innovative use of mirrors and carefully curated design elements, this hotel offers a one-of-a-kind experience that blurs the line between dreams and reality.

Each room in the hotel features mirrors strategically placed on ceilings and walls, creating unexpected perspectives and reflections. Just like the surprises that await us on the road, these mirrors offer glimpses into a world of dreams and possibilities. As travelers, we are dreamers, roamers, and self-invited adventurers, and this hotel captures the essence of that spirit.

The design of "Dream and Reality" is characterized by its use of marble, mirrors, leather, custom furniture, and custom lighting. These carefully selected materials and elements come together to create a luxurious and fantastical ambiance that immerses guests in a world of dreams.

Located in Taichung City, Taiwan, the design process for "Dream and Reality" began in 2011 and was completed in 2016. The construction of the hotel took place from 2014 to 2016, and it officially opened its doors on June 15, 2016.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was the integration of mirrors throughout the hotel. By setting mirrors at different angles on ceilings and walls, the design team was able to create unexpected and captivating views for guests. These mirrors serve as a metaphor for the surprises and dreams that await us on our journeys.

Winner of the prestigious A' Design Award in 2017, "Dream and Reality" has been recognized for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design. This award celebrates designs that embody experience, resourcefulness, and best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
