The mainly white inner space, and the simple and elegant north-European style create a warm residence, in which the public area is constituted by the living room, dining room, and kitchen. In the living room, a bright space is created by white culture-stone wall, white ceiling and floor, and daylight penetrating through the French windows.
The material of floor tiles has set the complete space in several parts, which are functioning distinctively but harmonize with one another excellently. The specific quality of glass sliding door, installed between the living room and dining room, consistently connecting the entire space. The square design behind the TV wall, the glass sliding door, and the black bricks on the wall behind the couch, make an addition the amusement to the space seems as if the arrangement of line thickness in the field of architectural drawing.
From the point of views, for designers, the applications to the spatial skills and elements carefully are of great opportunity making a dream for new home and life in real world. Meanwhile, the creation of new life style and aesthetics is of the greatest concern.
To spill the indoor space with sunlight and fresh air, the designer has remodeled the walls on the balcony. The glass, applied on the door and walls, has made the space full of variations and multiple functions, the natural and healthy residential environment rarely seen in most of the cities. Furthermore, the plain style is making this residence more attractive.
The project finished in September 2015 in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design was awarded Iron in A' Design Award in 2017.
