When the light turns red, it signifies that the flipper is hot and should not be touched. Conversely, when the light turns green, it indicates that the flipper is safe to use.

Produced using injection molding or casting techniques, Escher is made from stainless steel as the default material. However, there is also the possibility of using heat-resistant polymers for injection molding, providing versatility and durability.

The Escher flipper project began in August 2015 in Iran and was completed in October 2015. Through extensive research and observation of users' cooking experiences, Mehrnoosh Mirzaei identified the need for a more efficient and user-friendly kitchen flipper. The result is a design that combines functionality, aesthetics, and technology to enhance the cooking process.

Recognized for its ingenuity and creativity, Escher was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category in 2017.
