Deli Viet: A Fusion of Heritage and Modern Contemporary

Bringing the Soothing Garden Vibes of Vietnam to Hong Kong

Located in a shopping mall in Hong Kong, Deli Viet faced the challenge of limited natural light. However, the design team turned this constraint into an opportunity to create a relaxing and restful atmosphere. By incorporating elements such as raw wood, rust, and abundant greenery, they successfully brought the outdoor garden look indoors.

The materials used in the realization of Deli Viet include concrete walls, vertical green walls, solid wood wall panels, vintage floor tiles, and wooden shutters. These elements come together to create a harmonious blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance.

Spanning 2000 square feet, Deli Viet is a testament to the designers' ability to maximize the potential of space. Overcoming the challenge of a triangle-shaped layout, they strategically planned the construction and floor configuration to ensure a seamless flow throughout the restaurant.

The project, which began in June 2016 and was completed in December 2016, showcases the designers' commitment to merging cultural influences and design principles. By embracing the cultural heritage and natural landscapes of Vietnam, Deli Viet offers guests a unique and immersive dining experience.

Deli Viet has been recognized for its outstanding design with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that exhibit creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
