Throughout the design process, extensive market research was conducted in the leather and craft fields to determine the concept's viability and customer demands. Competitive samples were tested and evaluated for construction, instruction clarity, price points, and packaging.

The Vera Handbag has received recognition for its design excellence. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category in 2018.
