Life Prelude - 1680: A Harmonic Blend of Music, Art, and Literature

Frankie Yu's Award-Winning Interior Design Celebrates the Richness of Life

The inspiration for Life Prelude - 1680 is rooted in music, art, literature, and nature. The design is a reflection of the designer's belief that the abundance of life requires an intricate mind. The space is filled with white cones, reminiscent of a pipe organ, and the living room combines a stone fireplace and bookshelves to evoke a sense of artistic literacy. A green-wall in the balcony brings the feeling of nature into the room.

What sets this design apart is its original concept and total customization. By integrating elements of music, art, and literature, the space obtains a fresh and lively rhythm, an internal elegance with a powerful grandeur, and an extension of the line beyond volume and space. This contributes to an unparalleled spiritual feeling in the house.

The design realization technology focuses on materials. A variety of ground materials are used in the public area for a barrier-free presentation. The wall of the living room is made of wood, cast iron, titanium, and natural stone, creating a delicate contrast. Gray mirrors and mirrored stainless-steel materials used in the guest bathroom show a modern reflection of light and shade.

The design spans 215 square meters and was realized from December 2016 to November 2017. The design and planning of this project began as a blank slate, ending in the creation of an exclusive space and a functional setting. The design team included Frankie Yu, Aldeathex, Steven, and Stark.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was to fulfill the human desire for nature. To address this, a huge green-wall was set in the balcony, and creatively crafted green plants were placed at the forefront of this landscape. Non-toxic, low formaldehyde sheets, adhesives, and indoor plants are present in all the rooms, bringing a healthy and green life into the space.

The design emphasizes the relationship between mankind and space, the taste of life, and the uniqueness of achievement design. It is a perfect practice of the owner's taste of life and the ideal home. The Bronze A' Design Award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness. Life Prelude - 1680 is indeed a testament to this.
