Inspired by the geometric forms inherent in Art Deco, Mor Nov sought to give clothing a new character, akin to objects and buildings. The result is a collection of garments that resemble decorative objects and buildings, yet retain the functionality of clothing. The uniqueness of Construct Fashion lies in its patterns and choice of materials. Mor Nov developed patterns that create desirable volumes and silhouettes, using stiff synthetic textiles to bring her visions to life. Each garment is made from a large number of pieces sewn together, with most of the fabrics either inherently stiff or stiffened during the production process.

The project was completed over eight months, from October 2016 to June 2017, as part of Mor Nov's final year of fashion design studies at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
