Magician is not your ordinary piece of jewelry. It is a meticulously crafted brooch that can be disassembled and reassembled into different types and shapes of jewels. This versatility allows the wearer to effortlessly switch between different styles, whether it be a playful and whimsical look or a more sophisticated and elegant one. The brooch itself serves as a beautiful and pint-sized jewelry box, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

What sets Magician apart is its gender-neutral design. It is suitable for both men and women, making it a truly inclusive piece of jewelry. Crafted with 95% gold-plated material and adorned with lab-grown diamonds and white fritillary, Magician exudes luxury and elegance. The joints are made of 18k gold, ensuring durability and longevity.

The realization of Magician involved a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The jewelry is handmade using 3D printing technology. Each part is meticulously designed on a computer, ensuring the perfect fit and functionality. The larger components are 3D printed in wax, while the smaller parts are hand-carved. The final steps include casting, soldering, polishing, and setting stones.

Magician comes with specific technical specifications, including a ring diameter of 17mm, a brooch length of 43mm, a sphere diameter of 10mm, and a tassel length of 50mm. It features a 1.5ct lab-grown diamond, 925 silver, 18k gold, and white fritillary.

This innovative piece of jewelry offers a seamless interaction with the wearer. Its style and number of wearings can be easily changed to suit different occasions. The connections and storage units are subtle and well-designed, allowing for easy disassembly and storage. The chains, which can be worn individually, are divided into two and stored in the spheres that can be manually opened.

Magician was created at Grace H Jewelry Studio in December 2017, with a pending design patent. It is the result of Xuehui Liu's research into the challenges faced by individuals who need to adapt their accessories to different occasions. The designer's creativity and determination led to the development of a truly versatile and convenient piece of jewelry.

Magician has been recognized for its ingenuity and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2018. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that incorporate best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
