Gemdale Yangyun

Sales Office Inspired by Chinese Ink and Zen

The Gemdale Yangyun sales office, designed by Yu Chao and Guanghui Zeng, draws inspiration from the painting "The Edge of Reality" by Gao Xingjian. The design merges the shape of the moon and ink with Zen and minimalistic elements, creating a harmonious integration of the building, space, and furnishings.

With its unique design, Gemdale Yangyun stands out from other sales offices. The space showcases the change of lines, creating echoes and resonances of different atmospheres. The rhythm of the space perfectly embodies the oriental courtesy order, allowing visitors to explore the balance between art and spirit in a solemn and fantastic visual effect.

The use of special materials such as Portor Gold and coffee-cream marble adds to the distinctiveness of the project. These materials, along with the overall design, create a sense of elegance and sophistication.

The Gemdale Yangyun sales office covers an area of 600 square meters. It is located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province and took approximately two months to complete construction.

The design team faced challenges in meeting the requirements of simplicity while retaining a sense of quality. Careful selection of materials was crucial in achieving this balance.

The sales office serves as a platform for customers to gain a deeper understanding of the newly constructed buildings and houses. Visitors can view the overall construction plan and interact with sales managers to address any inquiries or make purchases.

In line with the concept of the new Chinese style, the Gemdale Yangyun sales office aims to strike a balance between local customs and the expectations of people seeking a comfortable life. The space is designed to evoke a sense of order and provide a place where individuals can find their pursuit in life, much like the experience of listening to a piano concerto.

The Gemdale Yangyun sales office was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2019. This prestigious award recognizes designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
