New York Dream: A Personalized Performing Art Studio

The designers captured the essence of New York and incorporated it into every corner of the studio, creating an atmosphere that inspires and motivates.

One of the unique features of this studio is its focus on removing color interference. By using white walls, black screens, mirrors, and different lighting modes, the designers have created a space where the attention is solely on the emotions and strengths conveyed by the people. This allows the users to focus on their own training and fully immerse themselves in their artistic pursuits.

Another challenge the designers faced was the original layout of the studio, which was a 40-year-old house with closed-off spaces and limited lighting and ventilation. To overcome these limitations, the designers used glass penetration to make the space barrier invisible, creating a sense of openness and freedom. They also adjusted the aisle to the central axis, allowing easy access to different areas of the studio and facilitating the flow of creative energy throughout the space.

The New York Dream performing art studio spans 128 square meters and is located in Taipei, Taiwan. It was completed in 2018 and has since become a hub for aspiring artists and performers. The studio's design has received recognition and was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2019 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
