The Yong Fu Intercontinental W Club hall, designed by Bethel Design, is a remarkable example of public facility 3D renderings. The design concept behind this project is to create buildings that seamlessly blend into their surroundings, taking on a low profile posture that appears to "grow" within the environment.
One of the unique features of this design is the use of fluid curves in the main buildings, which naturally blend within the overall structure. This integration with the environment is further enhanced by the incorporation of large trees in the external spaces, creating a highly greened outdoor area.
The main body of the building stands out by utilizing unconventional construction materials. Fir mold fair-faced concrete, with its low profile color, was chosen as the main construction material, allowing the building to harmonize with the natural surroundings. The design also incorporates outdoor greens, natural constructions, trees, and waters, creating a seamless connection between the building and its outdoor scenery.
The Yong Fu Intercontinental W Club hall is a three-story building that prioritizes the integration of external spaces and abundant natural light. The design embraces the natural environment, making water, light, wind, and greens the main elements of the project. Every corner of the building is carefully crafted to incorporate these natural elements.
One of the challenges faced during the design process was creating interior spaces that complemented the building's appearance. Family reading spaces and light meal areas were designed on the first floor, following the circular arc of the building and creating fluid and functional spaces. Outdoor wooden terraces were equipped with resting seats, providing users with a serene environment surrounded by greenery and water.
The Yong Fu Intercontinental W Club hall is a testament to the vision of Bethel Design and their commitment to creating innovative and harmonious designs. This project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2019, recognizing its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness. The design showcases strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.
