Yi Tonghua's Dowell Insight: A Fusion of British Classicism and Modern Style

Yi Tonghua's Dowell Insight Sales Center, a harmonious blend of classical British style and modern fashion, is a testament to the designer's innovative approach to architecture and interior design. Drawing inspiration from red brick buildings of British style, the sales center is a mixed space that evokes the theme of Afternoon Tea in Kensington.

Yi Tonghua's design philosophy is rooted in the integration of architectural elements with a personal understanding of art. The Dowell Insight project is a perfect embodiment of this philosophy. The sales center's facade is a red brick structure, reminiscent of British architectural style. The interior space is decorated with soft furnishings of the same color, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.

The lobby of the sales center is an exquisite display of symmetry, with carefully arranged lighting matrices outlining the image of the Union Flag. A European-style partition separates the lobby from the negotiation area, which is furnished with a black iron rack, red chairs, and a black couch. These elements enclose a golden tea table, creating a comfortable and relaxing space for communication. The sweet magnolias, the antique clock, and the fountain sculpture are all elaborate details that highlight British romance.

Yi Tonghua's design process involved simplifying the complicated style of traditional European architecture to retain only the classical outline and circular arch. Modern design skills were combined with historical symbols, resulting in a fresh and distinctive British atmosphere within the classical and elegant structure. This approach reflects the designer's commitment to creating spaces that not only showcase the present but also reflect the past and reveal the future.

The Dowell Insight project, located in Guiyang, China, was completed in March 2019. The project covers an area of 1300 square meters. The design process was a collaborative effort between the real estate group and the design studio, with both parties sharing the same idea: to create an interesting lifestyle and a warm community based on the requirements of the users. This approach involved integrating architecture, interior, art, and culture.

The Dowell Insight Sales Center is a testament to Yi Tonghua's innovative approach to design.
