Life on the undisturbed hill, veiled in the fog, is calm and delightful. The house, on the hill, is decorated with the delicate textures of different woods that are built into the roof, walls, stairs, and railings. The wood cabin, on the lush hillside, with the white walls is exclusively appealing. The cabin has two buildings, of which the front one having a parking lot underneath has a great view of the natural sceneries. The lavish plants, grown on the back building, are invigorating. The outdoor environment, meanwhile, has smooth and functional traffic flows.
The Tranquil Life in Fog residential apartment, designed by Steve Lyu, is a masterpiece that combines elegance, functionality, and artistic expression. Inspired by the manifestation of elegant materials and the state of clarity, this design focuses on creating a space that embodies visual comfort and family identity.
The unique properties of this design lie in its ability to bring out the purity of textures and showcase the ingredients and senses of materials. The wall decorations, distinct in colors and materials, resemble art paintings, with light reflections generating contrasts of colors and luminosities that energize the space characteristics.
The craftsmanship applied to the ceilings, walls, and floors showcases the allurements of contrasts and reconciliations. Modern aesthetics and innovative use of materials inspire the manipulation of lines, curves, angles, and textures, resulting in classic and distinguishing outlines that intrigue from different perspectives of interior design.
The public areas of the apartment are furnished with dignified luxury marbles, complemented by clean-style wooden cabinets and floors, creating a grand and cultivated atmosphere. The private spaces, on the other hand, are adorned with distinctive singular colors that highlight the residents' elegant character and visually depict exclusive areas.
The Tranquil Life in Fog design is not only visually stunning but also technically impressive. The property spans 280 square meters and was completed in Hsinchu, Taiwan, on the 5th of June 2017. It is a testament to the designer's meticulous research and attention to detail.
