When you want to taste a classic product in an unexpected way, you need an unexpected presentation. That is what had to be created for Avgoulakia, through a creative concept that could convey the uniqueness of the brand in a modern, different, and playful way.
The Avgoulakia sales kit, designed by Antonia Skaraki and her team, stands out from the competition with its originality and exclusivity. Made from environmentally friendly paper, the kit measures 479 x 1157 mm. But it's not just the materials and dimensions that make this design special.
Inspired by the power of storytelling, the sales kit features a visual narrative about chickens with interesting and unusual qualities. Each chicken represents a different type of egg, from free-range to bio and barn laid. Captain Mahe, Madame Coco, and Miss Nelly are the heroines of this story, showcasing the brand's commitment to quality and variety.
The design team, including Creative Director Antonia Skaraki, designers Andreas Deskas, Valia Alousi, and Evri Makridis, as well as copywriter Sotiria Theodorou, worked together to create a playful and branded experience for a commodity product like eggs. The result is a sales kit that not only informs but also engages and entertains potential customers.
The Avgoulakia sales kit was developed in Athens, Greece, starting in 2018 and finishing in 2019. Throughout the project, the team faced the challenge of creating an original sales kit that would stand out and make a difference in a competitive market. Their dedication to exclusivity and innovation paid off, earning them the Iron A' Design Award in 2021.
With its unique concept, unexpected presentation, and engaging storytelling, the Avgoulakia sales kit demonstrates the power of design in transforming a simple product into a memorable and branded experience.
