RRG: A New Dawn in Corporate Identity

Revolutionizing Geomarketing with Artistic Topographic Maps

RRG's new identity is inspired by the company's key expertise: geomarketing. The design team, led by Mikhail Puzakov, created the "geomaps" as stylized artistic representations of topographic maps. Rendered in RRG's signature colors of white, black, and orange, these maps have been applied throughout all stationery, documentation, and corporate materials.

The unique properties of this design lie in its adaptability. The "RRG geomaps" can incorporate stylized linear graphics, making them versatile for various applications, including advertising. This innovative design approach sets RRG apart from other companies in the commercial real estate market.

The "geomaps" were created using photographs of beads on paper backgrounds, superimposed with vector isolines. This technique resulted in a unique visual device that is compatible with the existing RRG logo. The main graphic features of a map, such as isolines and grid, are present in the "geomaps", with beads representing place marks. Names of RRG services and areas of activities are used instead of place names, further integrating the company's identity into the design.

The rebranding project took place between 2015 and 2016 in Moscow. One of the challenges faced by the design team was to preserve the existing RRG logo while inventing a new visual device. This constraint led to a greater emphasis on brand graphics and the creation of the "RRG geomaps".

This design has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication category in 2017. The award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, strong technical characteristics, and remarkable artistic skill. This accolade is a testament to the creativity and professionalism of Mikhail Puzakov and his team.
