Comtes de Dampierre x Bentley Motors: A Limited Edition Design

Celebrating Bentley Motors' 100th Anniversary in Style

Inspired by the iconic Bentley models of the 1930s and 1940s, forceMAJEURE Design, led by Pierre Delebois, has created a limited edition design in collaboration with Comtes de Dampierre Champagne house and Bentley Motors. This unique piece of Bentley Motors history pays homage to the brand's rich heritage and craftsmanship.

In honor of Bentley Motors' 100th anniversary, Champagne Comtes de Dampierre has crafted an exceptional blended champagne to celebrate the brand's extraordinary achievements. Working closely with Comtes de Dampierre Champagne house and Bentley Motors, forceMAJEURE Design has created a limited-edition champagne bottle and label, adorned with a beautifully crafted Champagne stopper. The entire set is elegantly showcased in a grey box with a bold red interior, making it a true collector's item.

The design team at forceMAJEURE meticulously researched Bentley's history to find inspiration for the stopper. Based on the original Flying B radiator cap of the 1920s Bentleys, the stopper had to be molded in multiple parts to preserve all the fine details. To ensure the champagne remains bubbly, a hidden silicon insert was incorporated into the stopper, making it both functional and visually stunning.

The champagne bottle itself holds 750ml of the exceptional blend, while the accompanying coffret measures 343mmx140mmx152.4mm. The stopper stands at 140mm, adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.

One of the design challenges faced by the team was replicating the delicate statuette of the original winged B ornament as a champagne stopper. Through careful craftsmanship and attention to detail, forceMAJEURE Design successfully recreated the vintage design, staying true to its historical significance.

This limited-edition design has garnered recognition in the industry, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Limited Edition and Custom Design category in 2020. This prestigious award acknowledges the outstanding creativity and resourcefulness of the design, showcasing the team's technical and creative skills.

It is a celebration of Bentley Motors' 100 years of excellence and a true collector's item for enthusiasts of both champagne and automotive design.
